Winter is a cold season,
For many obvious reasons.
You may have freezing rain, sleet or snow,
And sometimes the sun will brightly glow.
Falling snow is a beautiful sight,
As is an eagle, taking flight.
It's a nice time to sit by the fire,
As the flames we do admire.
Watching the fires glow,
Somehow just warms the soul.

When I was a child in school,
Learning the Golden Rule.
I couldn't wait for summer to arrive,
That's when school children come alive!

We would take a vacation,
Going anywhere in this great nation.
We could ride our bicycles,
and eat popsicles!

We would go swimming on weekends,
Hoping that it would never end.
Summer went by so fast,
Only knowing it wouldn't last.
We made great memories each year,
Of which we hold very dear.

In this world of toil and strife,
Life can be very stressful.
There are things done in spite,
But with God, you can be successful.

Human nature works against us,
As we are sometimes put to test.
To have a friend like Jesus,
Live a Christian life and he will bless.

Try to be, the best you can be,
God will help you, if you ask.
To you, others look to see,
If you're living as he ask.

Jesus loves even the sinner,
For love is all he knows.
To live with him, will be splendor,
