- I am a born-again Christian, was widowed while expecting our 4th child (a dtr., after having 3 sons). I also had the extreme good fortune to help with 13 foster children while I was still a single parent. I now have 5 wonderful grandchildren, so feel extremely blessed. I recently re-married and am very happy.
HE AMAZES ME
I stand in awe in the presence of God.
He amazes me.
That the creator of all heaven and earth would choose to love me ??!!
That the One Who flung stars into space
and caused the mighty mountains to be in their place ~~
the One Who created every living thing
the One Whose creation includes the human being ~~
That He would choose to love me ??!!
He amazes me!
The rain that softly and gently falls to earth
causing the flowers to bloom and the birds to have mirth …
The thunder so loud that it sometimes hurts our ears …
And the snow, the beautiful snow, that brings many cheers ~~
He thought of everything.
He amazes me !
Look at a baby as a new life gets its first start;
Think about the beating of that tiny heart.
Who could have created such as this ?
A new baby is close to pure bliss !
Our God amazes me !
He made our human bodies ~~ such a work of art.
And just which portion do you think is the best part ?
Would it be the eyes that help us to see ?
Would it be the ears that cause you to hear me ?
Or maybe the emotions that help us know what to say ?
Perhaps the blood that flows miles per day ?
All of our senses and every sensation ~~
Think about the wonder of His creation!
Yes, He amazes me.
Think about our awesome God ~~
the rocks, the rivers, the sod.
He sent His own Son to die on that cruel cross ~~
Our mortal minds cannot conceive the cost.
But His great love He freely gave
to save us from a hopeless grave.
Oh, how He amazes me

MIRRORS UNTO LIFE
We are each of us mirrors unto life and all of the beauty that is in it. If you would look into me, you would see a reflection of the beauty that is in you. Love sees into the heart and soul and mind of each of us and accepts what it finds there and is the better for it. There is in each of us something of beauty to be shared if we would but show it. HE'S JUST GONE HOME
HE’S JUST GONE HOME
He is not dead. He’s just gone home.
And it feels like he has left you all alone.
But don’t think too long of your grief and pain.
Try to focus instead on heaven’s gain.
Picture him there on heaven’s shore
Living with our Savior whom we all adore.
There is no more pain, no more sorrow
And we’ll see him again some soon tomorrow.
Try to remember the good times you all have had.
And you know he wouldn’t want you to be so sad.
Remember the laughter and forget the tears.

WE WILL NOT FORGET
WE WILL NOT FORGET
We will not forget the blood that was shed.
We will not forget for us you bled.
Your courage was ever true
as you served our red, white and blue.
We will never forget those who died to keep us free
Those of us who now enjoy sweet liberty.
We honor all of our servicemen on today and every day
And for their loved ones remaining, we do earnestly pray
We will not forget heroes, young and old
Those men of honor and so very bold
They stood for you and they stood for me

I SEE BEAUTY
I SEE BEAUTY
I see beauty all around me; it is everywhere I look.
It is in the flowers as they bloom and along a grassy brook,
You can find beauty in people or places; it is everywhere you go.
It is beautiful because God made it all, and I know that this is so.
Start with a baby - just look and you will see.

Then look again as it sets when that day is done.
