About Me:
I am a Christian Poet/Songwriter who writes for the honor and glorification of God. I call my poems "Poems From God" because He literally "gives" them to me in my morning journaling with Him. They are meant to be blessings for me to bless others. I bless people with them wherever and whenever I can, in Jesus' name. I am a full-time caretaker for my 89 year-old landlady and help take care of my best friend who lives next door to me and has neruological and physical handicaps. I feel like I am here to help feed Jesus' sheep and use my poetry to help fulfill God's Great Commission, and be a fisher of men. I am Jesus Christ's servant and go where He tells me to go and do what He wants me to do. I am content in whatever situation I am in. I feel like one of the most blessed people here on this earth to have the close relationship with my Maker that I have and to be entrusted with His beaautiful words!

Always, in all ways, to God the honor and glory!

I grew up too hard, too fast.
Childhood was nothing that would last
More than three or four of my years.
They were full of salty tears.

I had two brothers to raise
And they fulfilled all of my days,
Trying to keep them safe from harm,
Not to let them hea… Continue

REDEMPTION DAY

Redemption Day 4/27/08

Oh Lord,
Thank You for letting me come into Your kingdom,
A pauper,
With empty hands,
Empty heart,
Knowing not for what I was looking.
But I found You there,
A King, a Priest,
Who could all my burdens bear,
A God to save me from myself,
And from the Devil's snare.
How I look back
With tears in my heart
To the time when You called my name.
It was faint to my ears,
But strong to my soul,
As I stood at that wooden pew.
I barely sensed the tears streaming down,
And felt my he… Continue
